The South of Nusa Penida is mostly comprised of breathtaking cliffs and awe-inspiring natural panoramas. The South side of Penida is also famous for powerful spirits, for example, Ratu Kidul, the ocean spirit who resides in the South.
Guyangan Spring Waterfall
This tour takes you down to the South, stopping firstly at Guyangan Spring Waterfall.
Tembeling Forest
Next is Tembeling Forest. This area contains the last remnants of the native forest that covered areas of the island many years ago.
A very spiritual area, the green, lush forest below is fed by a natural spring which ends in two natural pools – one for men, and one for women. Reward yourself at the end of the walk with a dip in the pool.
Banah Cliffs
Banah Cliffs is the last stop on the agenda.
Here you can see stunningly beautiful and unique land formations in the middle of the ocean.
